The WSSC is pleased to offer new and convenient ways to pay your bill anytime, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Through our automated Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), you can:

  • Pay your bill using a check or credit card*
  • Split your bill into two payments
  • Place a seven-day payment extension on your account
  • Enter a meter reading

 

To use the IVRS, customers will need their WSSC account number. Of course, our agents are happy to help weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 301-206-4001 or 1-800-634-8400.

* Speedpay (not WSSC) will collect a $1.75 convenience fee for each transaction for providing the service. NOTE: As of December 12, 2016, credit card payments are limited to $750 with maximum 3 transactions per month per account plus $1.75 convenience fee.

To start, register your WSSC account online here, and follow the directions. If you have problems, please contact wssccallcenter@wsscwater.com.  If you are currently enrolled in WSSC's E-Z Pay direct debit program, do NOT register for GoGreen. Please contact us at 301-206-4001 for more information.

Please be advised that there are companies, including banks, that will offer to pay your WSSC bill for you by providing bill pay services through their websites. These companies may charge you extra fees for such services, and WSSC cannot control when we may receive payments from these companies, possibly resulting in late payments or even service disruptions due to non-payment.

Credit/Debit/ATM Card/Electronic Checks (ACH)

Credit, Debit, ATM card payments and Electronic Checks (ACH) can be made online anytime at our Self-Service page, or at any time through our Interactive Voice Response System at 301-206-4001. If you would like to speak to an agent, you can also pay via telephone by calling weekdays at 301-206-4001 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Check payments can be made anytime using WSSC's on-line Self-Service page, or WSSC's Interactive Voice Response System ("IVRS") by calling 301-206-4001. Check payments can be made any time using WSSC's Mobile App; however, you must be registered at our on-line Self-Service page to use this option.

Note:  Western Union SpeedPay (Not WSSC) charges a $1.75 convenience fee for bill payments that are credit card or electronic check. NOTE: As of December 12, 2016, credit card payments are limited to $750 with maximum 3 transactions per month per account plus $1.75 convenience fee.

Direct Payment

E-Z Pay Direct Debit enrollment allows you to have your water/sewer bill payment directly debited from your checking or savings account on the date the billed charges are due. Successful enrollment in our e-bill program allows you to receive your "e-Bill." All you do is authorize the payment date and amount. e-Checks can also be posted on our Self-Service page.

Cash

Cash payment is accepted in several ways:

  • Cash Payment in person – Do NOT mail cash or leave at a Dropbox!
    • At WSSC's Cashier window or Drive-Thru (Weekdays 7:30 am to 5:00 pm):
      • 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707
         
  • Use PayNearMe service at a 7-Eleven, CVS Pharmacy, or Family Dollar store  ($1.49 convenience fee applies).
    • Call Customer Relations at 301-206-4001 or 800-634-8400 and ask for a PayNearMe BARCODE to be sent to your phone or email.
