WSSC Water has developed two lists of approved contractors to bid on Sewer Repair, Rehabilitation, and Replacement Projects in the public right-of-way.
Sewer Rehabilitation, Replacement, and/or Relocation Projects (List A)
This list involves projects that include rehabilitating, replacing, and/or relocating sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and sewer house connections. Projects may involve trenchless technologies like Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and pipe bursting as well as open-cut sewer replacements. Projects will also include road restoration and backfill.
Sewer and Manhole Repairs (List B)
This involves smaller-scale projects focusing on repairing and replacing sewer and manhole components. Work includes open-cut replacements, manhole rehabilitation, and external point repairs.
