We represent WSSC Water's interests before elected bodies, government agencies and community stakeholders, and champion legislation that supports our priorities, mission and vision.
We advocate for legislation and regulations that promote WSSC Water's priorities and vision.
The Intergovernmental Relations Office directs WSSC Water's legislative agenda and represents it before various elected bodies and agencies, and is a liaison between the Commission and elected officials.
Our mission is to strategically position WSSC Water's policy interests before elected, government, business and community stakeholders, in order to obtain the resources we need. We research, develop, analyze and advocate for or against legislation that impacts WSSC Water.
