General Services Department
Our General Services Department has a big job: To pay attention to the many, many details that keep WSSC Water running smoothly.
The General Services Department keeps WSSC Water rolling in more ways than one.
Facility Services Division
The Facility Services division is responsible for all building and ground’s related maintenance responsibilities for all WSSC Water facilities including Richard G. Hocevar Building, Lab, Depots, plants, and pump stations.
Fleet Services Division
A major part of the General Services Department's work is Fleet Services, which works to keep more than three thousand vehicles and pieces of equipment maintained and repaired.
Materials Management Division
The General Services Department also oversees the Materials Management Division, which ensures that the materials we use meet WSSC Water standards.
Sustainability and Support Services Division
The Sustainability and Support Services Division is responsible for managing support services such as workspace planning, real estate, office services including reprographic and mail services, records management, and energy management for the Commission.
The General Services Department Director is Allison Dunn Wilson .
