Project Purpose

To enhance service and reliability of the water system, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure including 4-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch and 16-inch diameter water mains.

Project Schedule

Fall 2025 - Fall 2027

Project Status

Construction started on October 31, 2025. 

Construction is approximately 31% complete with a total of 2,078 feet of 16-inch water main installed.

Upcoming work includes continued installation of 16-inch water main. In early 2026, crews will also begin installation of a flow control vault in the vicinity of 9200 Allentown Road.
