Project Purpose

To enhance service reliability and to provide safe, clean drinking water, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project has replaced 3.57 miles of water main ranging from 4 to 42 inches in diameter.

Spring 2022 - Spring 2026

Project Status

Construction is 99% complete.

Upcoming work to include final paving and striping at Allentown Road and Old Branch Avenue intersection in spring 2026, weather permitting.
