Laurel, MD – February 25, 2025: WSSC Water has an emergency water main shutdown on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 starting at 8 am affecting the northern half of the Carderock Spring community (north of Hamilton Spring Rd.). Work will be extending beyond 8 pm, and repairs will be made as quickly as possible.
WSSC Water will have a water delivery station set up this evening at the Carderock Springs Swim and Tennis Club at 6 pm until 8 pm.
Customers in the area may lose water service during the shutdown.
