Special Meetings will be Closed After Brief Open Sessions
Laurel, Md. – August 19, 2024 – WSSC Water Commissioners are holding two special meetings on Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22, beginning at noon. Following a brief open session held virtually, the Commissioners will vote to close the meetings to discuss personnel matters pursuant to Maryland Code Annotated General Provisions Article, Title 3, Open Meetings Act, Subtitle 3, Open Meetings Requirements - Closed Sessions: Section 3-305(b)(1).
The brief open sessions to adopt the agenda and vote to convene into closed sessions will be available via livestream and teleconference. The special meetings will not provide an opportunity for public comment.
