Laurel, Md. – November 9, 2023 – WSSC Water will hold a virtual public hearing on the proposed front foot benefit rates and house connection charges on Wednesday, November 15, at 2:30 p.m. Members of the public are invited to provide input and ask questions via phone conference on the rates.  

Front foot benefit and house connection charges pay for the construction of the water and sewer lines leading to the property and typically appear on the property tax bill for 30 years. To learn more, visit WSSC Water’s Front Foot Benefit and House Connections information page

New rates will take effect on January 1, 2024. There will be no changes to the front foot benefit rates. House connection charges will change. The proposed house connection changes can be found here.
