Commissioners Scheduled to Vote on More Than $51 Million in Contracts to Upgrade Critical Infrastructure and Improve Service Delivery
Laurel, Md. – December 19, 2023 – WSSC Water Commissioners are holding their monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 20, beginning at 10 a.m. The meeting, which will be held in person at the WSSC Water building in Laurel, is open to the public and will be available via livestream from WSSC Water’s website.
This month’s meeting agenda includes scheduled votes on more than $51 million in contracts to upgrade and replace WSSC Water’s aging critical infrastructure to enable the continued delivery of clean, safe and reliable drinking water and wastewater services to 1.9 million customers in both counties. Presentations will be provided on the following topics:
The meeting includes a call-in option to ensure interested stakeholders not in attendance can provide input. Those watching virtually and wishing to speak should call in at the beginning of the comments section, which begins shortly after 10 a.m. Callers will be admitted from the “lobby” when public comments start.
