Laurel, Md. – November 15, 2022 – WSSC Water Commissioners are holding their monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 16, beginning at 10 a.m. The virtual meeting is open to the public via livestream from WSSC Water’s website.

This month’s agenda includes a briefing on the results of the 2022 Disparity Study. The independent study, conducted by MGT Consulting Group, reviews WSSC Water’s minority business enterprise program and analyzes its activity with minority- and women-owned businesses.

The monthly meeting will be Mark J. Smith’s first in his new role as a Prince George’s County commissioner. Appointed by County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, Smith was unanimously approved by the Prince George’s County Council last month.

The meeting includes a call-in option to ensure interested stakeholders can provide input. Those wishing to speak should call in at the beginning of the comments section, which begins shortly after 10 a.m. Callers will be admitted from the “lobby” when public comments start.
