WSSC Water cares about its carbon footprint. Since 2005, we've seen a 50 percent decrease in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and are working toward a 75 percent reduction by 2030. Purchasing renewable energy, including wind and solar, and improved operational efficiency are driving the reductions.
Our goal is to reduce GHG emissions to net zero by 2050.
