We own and lease land and buildings and look for ways to generate non-rate-related revenue by seeking unique opportunities that leverage our real estate assets.
The General Services Department manages our real estate and buildings, and acts as our landlord and tenant representative. We look for unique opportunities to generate non-rate-related revenue through the sale or joint development of our properties, including surplus land.
On May 18, 2022, the Commission added Chapter 13.50 – Identification and Disposition of Surplus Real Property – to its Code of Regulations. This Regulation will take effect July 1, 2022.
