Project Purpose
To enhance service reliability and provide safe, clean drinking water, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project will replace approximately 0.48 miles of water main with new 4-inch to 12-inch diameter water main.
Project Schedule
Fall 2025 - Summer 2026
Project Status
Construction is 40% complete. Pipe installation is estimated to be completed in summer 2026.
Expect weekday working hours from 9 am – 3:30 pm. Work may occasionally extend beyond these hours to complete specific tasks.
Final roadway paving and striping is estimated to be completed in late summer 2026.
