Project Purpose

To enhance the service reliability of the sewer system, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project will replace or rehabilitate 13 sewer manholes and 1.2 miles of sewer main.

Project Schedule

February 2026 – Fall 2026

Project Status

Construction is 1% complete. All sewer rehabilitation work is estimated to be completed by October 2026.

The contractor is currently performing closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspections. After the CCTV videos are reviewed, the contractor will begin lining the identified sewer mains in accordance with the contract documents. Rehabilitation of existing manholes will also take place at various locations.

Work is expected on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Work may occasionally extend beyond these hours to complete specific tasks.
