Spring 2026 Project Update: Horizon Way Water Main Replacement - BR6545A18

Project Purpose

To enhance service reliability and provide safe, clean drinking water, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project will replace approximately 2.30 miles of water main with new 4-inch to 10-inch diameter water main.

Winter 2025 – Spring 2026

Project Status

Construction is 90% complete. Pipe installation is complete.

Installation of the water main on Daniel Drive, Berry Lane, Berry Place, Altamont Place, Bethany Drive, Anny Drive, Brewton Street, Brewton Court, Wintergreen Court, Glendora Drive, and Glendora Court has been completed.

The contractor demobilized equipment and materials during the winter season and will return in the spring to complete pavement and green space restoration.

Final roadway paving and striping is estimated to be completed in spring 2026.
