Project Purpose

To enhance service reliability and provide safe, clean drinking water, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project will install 2.3 miles of new 12-inch, 10-inch, 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch water main throughout the community.

Spring 2024 – Fall 2026

Project Status

Construction is 64% complete. Phase 1 construction is complete.​

The contractor is currently working on Alta Vista Road as part of Phase 2 and resumed additional Phase 2 work in March following a winter pause.​

Final roadway paving has been completed for Phase 1 and will be completed for Phase 2 once construction is complete.
