Project Purpose

To enhance service reliability of the water system, WSSC Water is replacing our aging infrastructure. This project will replace 4.5 miles of 8-inch and 10-inch diameter water main and install new water service connections to the property line.

Project Schedule

April 2025 – Spring 2029

Project Status

Construction is underway. Phase II is currently under construction. Phase II includes installation of approximately 4,750 linear feet of water main along:​ ​ 

  • Wildwood Road (between Saul Road and Parkwood Drive)
  • Roxbury Drive (between Wildwood Road and Parkwood Drive) 
  • Delmont Lane (between Cedar Lane and Parkwood Drive)
  • Parkwood Drive (between Roxbury Drive and Delmont Lane)

This phase also includes installation of new water service connections.​

Phase II is anticipated to be completed in spring 2029
