Project Purpose

To enhance service reliability and supply of safe, clean drinking water by installing new water mains throughout the community. This project will replace 2.76 miles of water main with new main ranging from 8 to 10 inches in diameter.

Project Schedule

Spring 2025 – Spring 2027

Project Status

Construction is 25% complete. 

Contractor is working on the last street for Phase 1 (Malibu Drive). Phase 1 is estimated to be completed by spring 2026. 

Final roadway paving will take place for all of Phase 1, once complete. This includes Whitaker Terrace, Lowlander Lane, Gregorio Street, Malibu Drive and portions of Weaver Street. 

Phase 2 construction will begin in spring 2026.

Winter Holiday Schedule

Construction will pause from December 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026, except for emergency work if needed. Crews will return after the break to continue planned activities.
