Regina Y. Speed-Bost

Regina Y. Speed-Bost was appointed to the WSSC Water Board of Commissioners, representing Prince George’s County, in March 2022. She was elected as Vice Chair for Fiscal Year 2023 and was the Chair in Fiscal Year 2024. She has resided in Prince George’s County for more than 40 years. 

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center. She began her legal career at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and has represented various entities on federal and state energy regulatory matters for more than 30 years. 

In 2020, Ms. Speed-Bost founded her own firm with offices in Washington, DC, and Prince George’s County. A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, she has completed the Cornell University Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program.

Ms. Speed-Bost has been married for more than 30 years, has three adult children, including her daughter-in-law, and is a loving grandmother.
