Alan Wong
Alan Wong is a seasoned water and wastewater engineer with decades of experience working on major capital improvement programs with utilities across the country. He joined WSSC Water as Chief Engineer in September 2025.
Prior to WSSC Water, Alan worked for the Parsons Corporation supporting the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s $4 billion capital improvement program as a technical advisor and interim programmatic construction manager. Before that, with Stantec, he worked with Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management on a multi-year capital improvement plan as an on-site program director managing several major projects. Prior to that, at AECOM, he served as an on-site program manager in the Emergency Lead Service Line Fast Start Replacement Program in Flint, Michigan.
Alan earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Norwich University and his master’s degree in civil engineering from New York University.
Staying in touch with his four grandchildren, following every Boston professional sports team from the age of 6, listening to jazz trios and quartets, and reading about the global history of governments are his favorite past times.
