Why is WSSC Water conducting a customer satisfaction survey?
We want to better understand satisfaction, experiences and perceptions of our services. Your feedback will help us improve how we communicate and serve you.
Who can take the survey?
All WSSC Water customers (residential and commercial) are eligible to participate. The survey is available in both English and Spanish.
Will I be paid for my time?
There is no payment for completing the survey. It should take about 8-10 minutes. At the end, you may choose to enter for a chance to win one of ten $50 grocery gift cards.
Who will know what I said?
Your responses are completely anonymous. If you choose to enter the grocery gift card drawing, your name and email will be used solely for that purpose and will not be linked to your survey responses. Results will be combined with other responses and shared in summary form. WSSC Water will use this feedback to make improvements and will share key takeaways on our website and social media.
How long is the survey open?
The customer survey is available now and will remain open through May 22, 2026, at midnight.
What is the focus group and why should I join?
We are hosting small-group discussions to better understand your experience as a customer -- what’s working well and where we can do better. The focus group is an opportunity for you to share your perspectives about WSSC Water.
How long is the focus group and how many people can participate?
We are hosting three focus groups, one in Montgomery County, one in Prince George’s County and one virtual. Each session will last about 90 minutes and include approximately 15 participants. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, as participants will be chosen to ensure a diverse and representative mix of customers.
Can I choose between in-person and virtual?
Yes. You can indicate your preferred location (Montgomery County or Prince George’s County) and/or select the virtual option in the application. However, if selected, you will only participate in one group.
Will I be paid for participating?
Focus group participants will receive a $50 grocery gift card as a thank you.

Yes, we’re always listening! You can share feedback directly with us at any time, attend our monthly Commission meetings in person or virtually, or contact our Customer Service Team at [email protected].
