Laurel, Md. – February 14, 2023 – WSSC Water Commissioners are holding their monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 15, beginning at 10 a.m. The meeting, held in person at WSSC Water headquarters in Laurel, is open to the public and will be available via livestream from WSSC Water’s website.  

Commissioners are scheduled to vote on a contract totaling $30 million to upgrade aging sewer infrastructure throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. The contract is an optional one-year extension to an existing three-year contract.

The meeting includes a call-in option to ensure interested stakeholders not in attendance can provide input. Those watching virtually and wishing to speak should call in at the beginning of the comments section, which begins shortly after 10 a.m. Callers will be admitted from the “lobby” when public comments start.
