Eligibility requirements:

  • Reside as an owner or tenant at a single-unit residential property
  • Have a delinquent balance as of the date of application
  • Meet at least one of the income or employment criteria in the following table

If you meet the previously listed eligibility requirements, then you will need the following documents to apply: 

  • WSSC Water account number
  • Copy of past-due WSSC Water bill
  • Income verification documents such as:
    • W-2
    • Pay stubs
    • Tax returns
    • Bank statements
    • Benefits letter
    • 1099
    • Court-ordered income
    • SSI statements
  • If applying as current or former federal employee or contractor, then you will need proof of employment documents such as:
    • W-2 forms
    • Pay stubs
    • Government-issued identification
    • Employment verification letter
    • Copy of contracts and invoices
