When: Saturday October 14, 2017 9:30am to 2:00pm
Where: Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) 14501 Sweitzer Lane. Laurel MD 20707
During the day, scouts will meet heroines for water and learn about the work WSSC does to protect, restore, and conserve the region's water resources. By participating in 6 engaging stations, scouts will begin to develop a love for water, understand ways to advocate for sources of drinking water, and brainstorm how to share what they have learned with their community. Girls will leave the day as leaders and advocates for their local water source.
This event is free of charge and limited to 50 scouts. To ensure that we are able to accommodate the most number of scouts please only register your scouts after you have confirmed with parents that scouts are able to attend.
To sign up your scouts, please complete this form and return it to Nicole.firstname.lastname@example.org. Depending on your operating system, you may have to download the form to your computer, complete, save and then attach to an email. Registration will close on September 20th.
Due to the popularity of this event, preference will be given to troops in WSSC’s service area - Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. Other troops will be placed on a waitlist and notified by September 25th if there are spaces available.
