Pipeline Design Division

The Pipeline Design Division is responsible for the investigation, analysis, design, and project management for existing replacements and rehabilitation, relocation, and extension for the entire WSSC water and sewer pipeline systems.  This responsibility includes, but not limited to, preparation of alignment and feasibility studies, engineering design plans and qualifying computations, bid ready documents, regulatory permitting, letters and memorandums of agreement and understanding, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, coordinating utility work within the Public Right of Way, maintenance of traffic, pavement restoration design, environmental mitigation design, and design  services during construction for a wide variety of water and sewer pipeline projects in support of the Commission’s Asset Management Plan.
