All Future Monthly In-Person Commission Meetings Postponed Indefinitely

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

All WSSC Water Public Meetings Postponed for 30 Days

Laurel, Md. – March 13, 2020 – In an effort to protect the public from the spread of the coronavirus, WSSC Water’s monthly Commission meeting, scheduled for next Wednesday, March 18, has been postponed. Additionally, all future in-person, public Commission meetings have been postponed indefinitely until further notice. An update on the status of all future Commission meetings will be posted here. This decision will be reassessed moving forward based on available information.

All other WSSC Water public meetings scheduled over the next 30 days have been canceled (through April 12). WSSC Water is actively monitoring the emerging health threat and working closely with state and local health partners to ensure the safety of employees and the public.
