Scheduled Water Service Shutdown in Hyattsville

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel, MD - January 23, 2020: Water repair work in Hyattsville could impact a number of customers, including residents of the Queens Park Plaza Apartments and Avondale Overlook Apartments. The work will take place starting Thursday, January 23 at 9:00 p.m. until Friday, January 24 at 5 a.m. Customers in the area could lose water service or experience low water pressure while the work is performed.

The impacted streets (shaded area) include:

  • 4500 – 4600 21st St.
  • 4500 – 4600 22nd Ave.
  • 4700 – 4921 Crest View Dr.
  • 2400 block of Avondale Overlook Dr.
  • 1900 - 2500 Queens Chapel Rd.
  • 2400 block of Marsh Point
  • 4801 Russell Ave.
Hyattsville

Though not expected, work may extend beyond these hours if necessary to complete the repair.
