Possible Temporary Discolored Water in Silver Spring Area

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel, MD, November 13, 2020 — WSSC Water customers in the Silver Spring area (see shaded section on map below) may experience temporary discolored water as crews in the area perform needed repair work. The work causing this temporary discoloration is expected to be finished on/about November 20, 2020, weather permitting. Discolored water is safe. We advise not doing laundry if you are experiencing discolored water. If the discoloration persists beyond November 20, please call us at 301-206-4002 or email us at emergencycallcenter@wsscwater.com.
