Emergency Water Main Repairs In Montgomery County & Discolored Water Information

17401 Taunton Dr., Montgomery Village

Crews are working to repair a broken valve on an 8-inch water main at 17401 Taunton Dr. in Montgomery Village.

Customers in this area will lose water service while the water main is fixed.

A water station is set up at 17800 Amity Drive in the parking lot of the Washington Square Park. Please stop by and pick up water if your service is impacted by this repair work.

As a result of water main repair work in various parts of Montgomery County on Friday, February 15, it is possible customers could experience discolored water.

Please follow these guidelines if you are experiencing discolored water in your home or business. While the water is safe, WSSC does NOT recommend using discolored water to do laundry.
