Emergency Valve Replacement Work: 2 Locations - Gaithersburg

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel, MD - March 8, 2019: Crews are replacing an 8-inch valve at 17401 Taunton Dr., and a 12-inch valve near the intersection of Washington Grove Lane and McCauley Street, both locations in Gaithersburg.

Customers in these areas may experience low water pressure or lose water service while the emergency work is in progress. A water station will be set up at Washington Square Park,17800 Amity Drive at 8pm until midnight. Please stop by and pick up water if your service is impacted by this repair work.

Please follow these guidelines if you are experiencing discolored water in your home or business. While the water is safe, WSSC does NOT recommend using discolored water to do laundry.
