Public Hearing on Proposed 2019 Front Foot Benefit Rates and House Connection Charges Following Commission Meeting

Laurel, Md. – November 14, 2018 – WSSC’s monthly Commission meeting originally scheduled for next Wednesday, November 21, has been rescheduled to the following Wednesday, November 28, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The meeting will start at 10 a.m., is open to the public and will be available via livestream directly from WSSC’s website.

Following the monthly commission meeting, WSSC will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2019 Front Foot Benefit rates and House Connection charges. The public hearing also will be held in the auditorium of WSSC’s headquarters starting at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and provide comment/testimony pertaining to the proposed Front Foot Benefit rates and charges, which become effective January 1, 2019.

As part of WSSC’s commitment to public engagement and transparency, the live broadcast of the monthly Commission meeting allows viewers to observe agency business, including the review of contracts, policies and a monthly synopsis of WSSC’s operations.
