LAUREL, Md. – October 19, 2017: WSSC will host the last of three public hearings tonight to receive comments on the five different rate structure alternatives under consideration. Attendees will learn more about the proposed rate structures and the impact these options have on the average customer’s water/sewer bill. The hearing continues WSSC’s commitment to transparency and follows extensive public outreach efforts this spring and summer, which included 15 public meetings attended by nearly 1,000 WSSC customers. Earlier this week, WSSC hosted public hearings in Largo at Prince George’s Community College and in Laurel at WSSC headquarters.
