WSSC Commissioners Hold Monthly Meeting Today
Agenda Includes Approval to Transmit $2 Billion Capital Budget to County Governments and Rate Structure Briefing on Affordability

Laurel, Md. – September 20, 2017 – Approval to transmit WSSC’s proposed six-year, $2 billion Capital Improvements Program (FY2019 to FY2024) to Montgomery and Prince George’s County governments and a rate structure briefing on affordability from a national expert are two key items on the agenda for today’s Commission meeting. The monthly meeting, which begins at 10 a.m., is open to the public and will be livestreamed on WSSC’s website.
The agenda also includes approval to set three October public hearing dates for customers and interested stakeholders to provide testimony on the different rate structure alternatives under consideration.
