CUSTOMER ALERT: Water Main Break on Osborne Road

‚ÄčUPDATE 7/25/2017 4:35 PM: Repairs to water main on Osborne Rd. in Upper Marlboro are complete and water has been restored. Osborne Rd. between Carroll Way & Brentwood Drive will remain closed until late tonight for road repairs. 



UPDATE 7/25/2017 1:24 PM: Crews are moving along with repairs. New section of pipe is being put in place at Osborne Road. Number of customers without water service now stands at approximately 40. Customers in the affected area of Osborne Road may be experiencing discolored water. For more information on flushing your pipes, see our flushing guide.

UPDATE 7/25/2017 7:05 AM: Crews are on the scene and continue to make repairs on Osborne Road. A total of 16 customers remain without water service. Jones Mill Road in Chevy Chase is back in service. We thank you for your patience and will continue to provide updates throughout the day.


UPDATE 7/24/2017 11:45 PM: At this time, crews have isolated the break on Osborne Road in Upper Marlboro, leaving approximately 16 customers without water service. Osborne is closed between Brentwood and Carroll Way while crews position to make repairs. 


WSSC crews are on the scene of two water main breaks. One is on Osborne Road in the Upper Marlboro area of Prince George's County and the other is on Jones Mill Road in the Chevy Chase area of Montgomery County. Customers in those areas may be experiencing low water pressure or have no water. We are working as quickly as possible to restore service. Thank you for your patience.
