LAUREL, MD - 9/11/17: The discolored water issue continues for some WSSC customers because the level of organic material in the Potomac River remains elevated. WSSC is monitoring the river conditions daily. As a result of rain last week, there was a significant amount of grass that flowed down river and collected at WSSC’s Potomac Plant intake.
