WSSC’s Monthly Commission Meeting Rescheduled for Friday, April 29

Meeting Begins at 10 a.m., Live Streaming Available

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel – April 26, 2016  – WSSC’s monthly Commission meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, has been rescheduled to this Friday, April 29, starting at 10 a.m. in the WSSC Auditorium, 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707.  The event will be streamed live and is available from your desktop computer and most mobile devices directly from WSSC’s website.

As part of WSSC’s commitment to transparency, the live broadcast displays the meeting agenda and allows viewers to observe agency business.   Archives of the meeting will have agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.

Topics on the rescheduled April meeting agenda include Resolutions for Commission approval relating to an amended Standard Procedure to replace SP ENG 04-01 – “SDC Applicant Credits and Reimbursements;” authorization for the General Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Maryland Transit Administration on the Purple Line Project; approval of WSSC Mid-Cycle Update for Proposed FYs 2017-2022 Capital Improvements Program; and, authorization for the issuance of Water Supply and Sewage Disposal Bonds.  You can find the complete agenda here.
