WSSC Permit Services Counter Closed November 16 – 20

Several Permit-related Online Services Will Be Unavailable

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAUREL, MD – November 14, 2016: The WSSC Permit Services Counter (One Stop Shop) will close at 12 p.m. on November 16 and re-open at 7:30 a.m. on November 21, in preparation for the launch of ePermitting. During this closure, the following online services will be unavailable: eServices for Short Form Permits and Cross Connection Test Reports, ePayment for project fees and plumbing inspection scheduling via IVRS.

In addition, plumbing inspections for November 17, 18 and 21 must be pre-scheduled. All scheduled inspections will continue during the closure period. After 12 p.m. on November 16, new inspection requests will be limited to unscheduled emergencies and homeowners who are scheduling Short Form Permits.

With the launch of ePermitting on November 21, customers will be able to apply, renew and track permits online, expediting the permitting process. After November 21, WSSC will no longer accept paper applications.
