MEDIA ADVISORY: WSSC Commissioners to Hold Special Meeting on Friday, September 30

Session will cover items tabled at the regularly scheduled monthly Commission Meeting due to time constraints

Laurel – September 29, 2016 – WSSC commissioners will hold a special meeting on Friday, September 30, to discuss attorney/client privileged legal matters affecting the Commission. The session will cover items that were tabled at the last Commission Meeting (9/21) due to time constraints.

The Commission will open the meeting publicly to adopt the meeting’s agenda and then immediately convene into closed session to receive a briefing from its legal counsel on privileged pending legal matters affecting the Commission. Commissioners will attend by telephone while the corporate secretary and other members of management will attend in person. The public can attend the open session segments of the meeting at the Commission Office, Large Conference Room, WSSC headquarters, 14501 Sweitzer Lane,  Laurel, MD 20707.

Minutes of the open session portion of the meeting will be available online on WSSC’s website after they have been drafted by the corporate secretary and approved by the full Commission.
