Director of WSSC’s SLMBE Program to Be Featured on The Thornton Business Hour

Laurel – May 4, 2016 – WSSC’s Small, Local and Minority Business Enterprise (SLMBE) Office Director will be featured on today’s “The Thornton Business Hour” with Pat Thornton, from 11 a.m. – noon on WOL-AM 1450. Towanda Livingston will provide insight for businesses looking to contract with WSSC and discuss new initiatives and partnerships with WSSC’s SLMBE Office.
Towanda is a leader in the national supplier diversity movement and has been recognized by several business organizations for her successful efforts. Most recently, Towanda was honored by the Maryland Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) with their “Black History Hero” award for her many contributions to the business community.
