WSSC’s Monthly Commission Meeting Streams at 10:00 A.M.

Laurel – May 20, 2015: Need to see what’s going on at WSSC? Check out the monthly Commission meeting which streams live, starting at 10:00 a.m. today. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month and can be viewed from your desktop computer and most mobile devices directly from WSSC’s website.

At today’s meeting, departing Montgomery County Commissioner Gene W. Counihan will be recognized for his service to WSSC. Commissioner Counihan has been on the Board of Commissioners for eight years. He was appointed in October 2007 following a career that included elected and appointed positions in state, regional and county government as well as 29 years as a teacher and administrator in the Montgomery County Public Schools.

As part of WSSC’s commitment to transparency, the live broadcast displays the meeting agenda and allows viewers to observe agency business including the review of contracts and policies as well as a monthly synopsis of WSSC’s operations. Archives of the meeting will have agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.
