WSSC to Hold Two Public Hearings This Week on FY16 Preliminary Proposed Budget

Laurel – February 3, 2015: WSSC will hold two public hearings this week on its preliminary proposed budget for FY16. The first hearing is on Wednesday, February 4, in Rockville, and the second is on Thursday, February 5, in Largo.

The formal budget document is available on WSSC’s website at Beginning in December, WSSC used social media and news releases to alert the public about the budget hearings, which are scheduled this week as follows:

In case of inclement weather on either date, the public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on February 11, 2015, in the Commission Auditorium at WSSC’s headquarters: 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707.

Written comments can be submitted electronically to, or mailed to Acting Budget Group Leader, WSSC, 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD, 20707 until February 17, 2015.
