Watch WSSC’s Monthly Commission Meeting via Live Streaming 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 21

Laurel – October 20, 2015 – WSSC’s monthly Commission meeting will stream live on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, starting at 10 a.m. (Commission meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month.) Watch the meetings via live streaming video from your desktop computer and most mobile devices directly from WSSC’s website.
As part of WSSC’s commitment to transparency, the live broadcast displays the meeting agenda and allows viewers to observe agency business, including the review of contracts and policies, as well as a monthly synopsis of WSSC’s operations. Archives of the meeting will have agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.
Included on the Agenda:
- Consent Decree Quarterly Update – WSSC will provide a status update on the multi-year action plan to minimize and eliminate sewage overflows. (Approximately Noon)
- Fiscal Year 2015 SLMBE Legislative Report – Each year WSSC submits a report to the Montgomery County and Prince George’s County Senate and House Delegations to the Maryland Assembly regarding the implementation and administration of the minority business enterprise programs for the past fiscal year. The SLMBE Office will provide a briefing on this year’s report. (Approximately 12:30 p.m.)
