Vote to Transmit Proposed FY’16 Budget

Laurel – February 17, 2015: Tune into WSSC’s monthly Commission meetings via streaming video and stay in the loop. You can watch from your desktop computer and most mobile devices directly from WSSC’s website.
The meetings begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, however the February 18 meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m.
As part of WSSC's commitment to transparency, the live broadcast displays the meeting agenda and allows viewers to observe agency business including the review of contracts and policies as well as a monthly synopsis of WSSC's operations. Archives of the meetings will have agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.
On the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting:
- Commissioners are expected to vote to transmit the proposed FY’16 Operating and Capital Budget to the County Executives and County Councils of Montgomery and Prince George’s counties
- WSSC’s 5.3 mile Bi-County Water Tunnel officially went into service on Monday, February 16. See video of the 72-inch valve opening that allowed for full flow through the tunnel and find out how many thousands of turns it took to open the valve.
