Laurel – January 13, 2015: The WSSC Board of Commissioners voted Monday to reschedule its Wednesday, January 21, 2015 meeting to Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

The meeting postponement comes in observance of the inauguration of Governor-elect Larry Hogan, Jr. “The change in leadership in our state is an important symbol of our entire system of government and democracy. As Commissioners we are part of this system and several of us wish to participate in this transition,” says Commission Chair Omar M. While WSSC is a non-partisan public utility, we do support the principles and traditions for which this country stands.”

The January 27th Commission meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. Usually Commission meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. It will be held at the WSSC Headquarters at 14501 Sweitzer Lane in Laurel. The meetings are also streamed live and available for viewing on desktop computers and most mobile devices directly from the WSSC website.
