FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Due to the cold temperatures and winter weather over the weekend, we continue to experience frozen meters and pipes and a large number of water main breaks. WSSC crews continue to work as quickly as possible, but there is a large backlog.

Please be patient. A normal response time is 2 -4 hours; we are exceeding that window at this time. 

If you are without service, you can also report problems via email to emergencycallcenter@wsscwater.com. Please include your address. 

If you have an indoor water meter and you suspect that it is frozen, please call a plumber. If you suspect that your household pipes are frozen, please call a plumber. WSSC is only responsible for outside meters and pipes.
