FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel – November 19, 2014: Keeping up with WSSC and its monthly meetings is easy thanks to streaming video. WSSC has been streaming its meetings since 2013. They are available for viewing on desktop computers and most mobile devices directly from WSSC’s website.

The meetings begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.

The live broadcast displays the meeting agenda and allows viewers to see presentations and videos from the meeting.  Archives of the meetings will have agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.

Six cameras are used to capture the meetings for the purpose of streaming, all in an effort to open the meetings to more people.

For 100 years, WSSC has proudly served the citizens of Prince George’s and Montgomery counties – providing drinking water that has always met strict Safe Drinking Water Act standards and protecting the environment through vital water resource recovery services. Our vision is to be THE world-class water utility, where excellent products and services are always on tap.
