Laurel – December 2, 2014: WSSC GM/CEO Jerry Johnson will testify this morning for the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works at a Subcommittee hearing entitled, “Innovation and the Utilities of the Future: How Local Water Treatment Facilities are Leading the Way to Better Manage Wastewater and Water Supplies.”

The purpose of the hearing is to discuss recent innovations made by water utilities to improve water and energy efficiency, recapture and reuse resources, reduce water usage and employ natural treatment techniques to provide better service to rate paying customers.
