FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel – June 18, 2014: Keeping up with the latest Commission business is easy thanks to streaming video. WSSC continues to stream its monthly meetings live and archive video footage of past meetings. The live stream and archived video are both available on WSSC’s website and can be viewed on desktop computers and most mobile devices.

The live broadcast of today’s Commission meeting began at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will display the formal agenda and allow viewers to see presentations and videos from the meeting.  In addition, all meetings are available afterwards in our archives, which will include agenda item links to take viewers directly to discussions about specific topics.

The purpose of streaming video is to further open the meetings to the general public and others interested in WSSC-related business and operations.

For 100 years, WSSC has proudly served the citizens of Prince George’s and Montgomery counties – providing drinking water that has always met strict Safe Drinking Water Act standards and protecting the environment through vital water resource recovery services. Our vision is to be THE world-class water utility, where excellent products and services are always on tap.
