Laurel – July 18, 2013: As reported yesterday, a major water emergency in southern Prince George’s County was averted when dedicated WSSC workers “unfroze” and closed a key valve near the failing pipe. Today at 1 p.m. at WSSC’s Anacostia Depot we will hold a press conference where these “valve experts” will discuss how they pulled off a feat many thought impossible.
